14 Days - 13 Nights Cochin - Guruvayoor- Wayanad - Munnar - Thekkady - Kumarakam - Alleppey - Kovalam -Kanyakumari

Day 1 : Cochin

You are greeted on arrival at the Kochi international airport /railway station and transfer to the hotel in Cochin better known as the "Queen of the Arabian Sea". Cochin presents before you the remnants from her glorious days as you move through Fort Kochi, Mattancherry Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Jew Town, Old spice market, St. Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basilica and Chinese fishing net. Later in the evening enjoy Kathakali dance presentation. Stay overnight bat Cochin .

Day 2 : Cochin - Guruvayoor

Morning a city tour. Afternoon to Guruvayoor . By evening at the famous Guruvayoor temple- one of the most sacred Hindu pilgrim centers in Kerala. Overnight at Guruvayoor.

Day 3 : Guruvayoor - Wayanad

After breakfast to Wayanad , one of the most scenic places in Kerala which can still be called as a virgin landscape. Lofty peaks, gurgling waterfalls and luxuriant forests add magic to your journey up the winding roads to this hill station. Afternoon at the Pookot lake for boating. Overnight at the hotel in Wayanad.

Day 4 : Wayanad

After breakfast check out from the houseboat and proceed to Cochin. By noon at Cochin. Afternoon a city tour or some shopping before returning back home from Cochin airport/ railway station with ever lasting memories of a holiday your will never forget.

Day 5 : Cochin - Munnar (Tea Garden & Hill station)

Arrival at Cochin airport/ railway station. Then to Munnar. This beautiful hill station was once the summer capital of the British Government in India. The never ending vast expanse of tea plantations and the round the year moderate climate makes it a little haven for visitors. The day at leisure. Overnight at Munnar.

Day 6 : Munnar

Visit to Rajamala- house of the highly endangered mountain goats - the Nilgiri Thars. Then to Lakkam water falls which is accessible by a short trek through the forest. Overnight in Munnar.

Day 7 : Munnar

Morning to Top Station. Top Station offers panoramic view of the neighboring state of Tamil Nadu. Then to Echo point and Mattupetty Dam. Speed boating facilities are available here. The dam is flanked by forests and vast expanse of grass land on one side and the Kundala tea plantation on the other. After noon at leisure. Overnight at Munnar.

Day 8 : Munnar - Thekkady

After breakfast move to Thekkady. By noon at Thekkady famous for its Periyar Tiger Reserve . After lunch and a short nap proceed to Periyar lake around which the sanctuary is built, for boating. This is the only sanctuary in India where you can have the unique experience of viewing the wild life at close quarters from the safety of a boat. By night fall back to your resort with refreshing memories wildlife.

Day 8 : Thekkady - Kumarakam

After breakfast check out and drive to Kumarakom. Kumarakom in the last decade has grown from a little known backwater village to a world renowned tourist destination. The serene atmosphere will sooth your souls and refresh your mind and body. Spend the night in the luxury of your resort.

Day 9 : Kumarakam - Alleppey

Wake up to the lap of nature. Take a relaxed breakfast. Then proceed to Alleppey. By noon check in to the Houseboat for a 20 hour long cruise through the world famous backwaters of Kerala. Houseboat (Kettuvalloms) is a indigenously developed and designed private boat with fully furnished spacious bath attached bed rooms, hygiene kitchen ,dining area and private front deck to capture the beauty of the back waters. The cruise through palm fringed narrow canals , the unique life of the backwater people and above all the nature around you will make long lasting impressions in your mind. Overnight stay in a houseboat.

Day 10 : Alleppey - Kovalam

After breakfast check out from the houseboat and proceed to resort/ hotel in Kovalam. By noon check in at the resort. Spend the rest of the day at this palm fringed beach. A massive rocky promontory on the beach makes its waters absolutely safe for swimming and water sports.

Day 11 : Kovalam

Morning after breakfast proceed to Trivandrum. Visit the famous Sri Padmanabha Swamy Temple, Kuthira Malika- the royal museum etc . Afternoon back at Kovalam. You can indulge in some ayurvedic massaging at the resort. Evening at the beach. Overnight stay at Kovalam.

Day 12 : Kovalam - Kanyakumari

Morning after breakfast proceed to Kanyakumari- the southern tip of Indian sun continent. Visit Vivekananda Rock Memorial and witness the majestic sunset. Overnight at Kanyakumari.

Day 13 : Kanyakumari - Trivandrum

Morning after breakfast proceed to Trivandrum. Visit Napier Museum and Sri Padmanabha Swamy Temple in Trivandrum and proceed to airport / railway station for onward journey.
